Welcome to Piotrowice Nyskie, formerly the Prince-Bishop of Breslau's private palace, and to our beautiful park where you can swim in the pond (or skate in winter) or play grass court tennis. The park, and surrounding countryside are something of a bird watcher's paradise, and we are regulalry visited by deer, hare and wild boar.

We are slowly restoring this wonderful late Renaissance building and now have two fully equipped flats where visitors can stay.

We can also host weddings, conferences, family reunions, big birthday parties and other events. Please ask.

There is a chapel. Mass is said on Wednesday and Saturdays at 6 pm.

Nearby are the pretty, historic towns of Otmuchow, Nysa and Paczkow, a little further, Zloty Stok, with its gold mining museum, and Ladek Zdroj, a famous spa town, not to mention the well kept secret of the fabulous Silesian countryside. Two large lakes by Otmuchow are ideal for boating or fishing.

We are a little over a one hour drive from Wroclaw airport, and within four hours of Berlin, Prague, Dresden, Vienna, Bratislava and Krakow. Wroclaw is served by Ryanair and Wizzair. Katowice Airport is about 2 hours drive, Krakow, 3 hours.

The Czech border is just 3 km away, and you can ski, walk or mountain bike nearby at several places in the Sudety Mountains. There is also the magnificent castle-museum at Javornik.
