Piotrowice Nyskie lies just 3 km from the Czech border, and has, as a backdrop, the Sudety Mountains.

It's a photographer's paradise, with constantly changing light and fabulous views for those interested in landscapes, and a great variety of birds, animals and wildflowers for nature lovers. For example, in the park we have spotted three different species of owl, several of frogs and toads - including the rare green tree frog - and grass snakes.

For history lovers, there is Nysa, Paczkow (the Polish Carcasonne) and Otmuchow.

Across the border you can ski in winter or hike in summer. It's ideal countryside for cross-country skiing, or cycling.
